Visitors & Societies

On week days throughout the year, Swinley welcomes a limited number of golfing groups and visitors strictly by prior arrangement. In the summer months, societies can can enjoy two rounds in a day. We offer breakfast in the bar and a full carvery in our upstairs dining room, overlooking the course.

Swinley has no reciprocal arrangements with other clubs.

Dress Code

On the course, traditional golfing attire is required; all players are welcome to wear tailored shorts. Collarless shirts, jeans or trainers are not permitted. In the clubhouse, visitors are encouraged to dress smartly (jackets required for gentlemen in the upstairs dining room).

Use of Mobile Phones

Everyone at Swinley is asked to respect our code on the use of mobile phones. They should not be used inside the clubhouse, nor on the course or the patio facing the 18th green. Please make your calls from the car park or the visitors changing room. It is fine to use such devices passively - i.e. for sharing photos, calendars or emails.

Pace of Play

We ask all players to keep up a good pace of play. If you find yourself holding up players and there is a gap in front of you, please let the faster golfers through at the first opportunity.
